Mrs Patience Key, a female presidential aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Redemption Party (PRP), has promised to use her wealth of leadership experience to impart positively on the lives of the citizens if elected come 2023.
Key, made the remarks on Monday, during her visit to Ebonyi with her team to Ebonyi an interactive meeting with chairmen, secretaries and other delegates from the five states in the south-East zone.
The aspirant said that the compelling evidence would be centred on her three-point agendas such as oneness and peace in the country, paying great attention to education and wealth creation.
Key said she had also developed a blueprint to achieve other agendas including youth transformation, better road networks, human capacity and infrastructural development.
She maintained that equity would be assured in women's participation in politics, and eliminate gender bias from ethnic groups.
The Aspirant, therefore, added that people living with disabilities would be involved in the decision-making process.
She said security agencies would strategies for constantly training and empower to security personnel.
Key is a graduate, Bachelor of Science in Geography and Regional Planning from Ambrose Alli University, Ekpoma Edo state and former Chairperson, Nigerians in the Diaspora for 15 years in United State, among other professions, would provide quality leadership.
She, however, explained that there was a need to call for a state of emergency on insecurity in the country.
"My quest for leadership is for the betterment of the citizens and revealing developments. The country needs a party like the PRP to move forward.
"I see a lack of leadership and wide gaps between the citizens and leaders and my attention will be given to the risen ethnic conflicts. We will lead by example.
"Everything mentioned will be restructured while policies will be made to control insecurity and other things in place.
"I am here to solicit your support and a collective fight for a great nation. I have visited South-South and Southwest," Key said.
The delegates from five states of the zone, Mr Mathias Ani-nwachukwu, PRP Chairman, Anambra state chapter, congratulated the aspirant and promised to support her goals to achieve the success needed.
The reporter said that the meeting featured Imo, Enugu, Abia, Anambra and Ebonyi state chairmen, secretaries, and elders council of the party.
