Political permutation towards the 2022 local government election is gradually taking the frontline of the Ebonyi State agenda.
This is as the state government has declared that the grassroots elections would hold this coming July.
Different people across the thirteen local government areas and 171 wards in the state have commenced shopping for their best nominees to fit in the positions of the Chairmen and ward councillors respectively.
Against the background, the good people of the Ivo LGA, have begun drumming support for Chief Ike Cletus Nga (Onwa Ishiagu) to be their next Executive Chairman.
Instances were given by his supporters including Ajah Emmanuel, Joseph Ikechukw, among others, noted that Chief Nga has built five (5) classroom blocks at Urban Secondary School Ishiagu.
Ajah said that the Ivo council people are fully rallying around Nga's victory in 2022 as the Executive Chairman of the LGA.
"Before now, we have been able to inform our teaming social media followers of the good works and capacity displays of the former Ishiagu Community Development Union (ICDU) .
"Some of his projects which we have talked about include but are not limited to Ishiagu Shopping Plaza, Schiele Corpers lodge, Irene Tansi Hostel project and others.
"To keep abreast with the happenings, please follow us on our social media handles.
"Before he came on board as the President General of Ishiagu community development union, *Chief Ike Cletus Nga* had used his wealth of experience which he garnered in his numerous community service to identify the various challenges facing the community.
"As we all know, money has never been a stumbling block whenever *Onwa* sets a goal he wants to achieve.
"Urban Secondary School Ishiagu was just two classroom blocks and a staff room. One for the junior class and the other for the senior class.
"The environment was never a conducive one to breed the younger generation and the then government finds it difficult to undertake a project in Ishiagu due to the political feud between the Fmr Senate President and the then State Governor. We were left to our fate as to whether we can develop ourselves as a community.
"Onwa Ishiagu in his avow to keep the community out of the imminent shame explored his contacts alongside his resources and built *Five (5) classroom blocks* in the school. The structures are still standing the taste of time as it was the only condition that made WAEC accept Urban Secondary School Ishiagu as an exam centre.
"While the entire Ishiaguans are grateful for his humanitarian services, we pray that the government of today should find him worthy to represent us as the Council Chairman of Ivo LGA. If he can do that much when there was little or no resources at his disposal, Onwa Ishiagu will give the council area a facelift if allowed to pilot the affairs of the council.
"Every Ishiaguan says we want Chief Ike Cletus Nga (Onwa Ishiagu) as our council Chairman in Ivo.
"If You Love Ivo LGA, Support Chief Ike Cletus Nga for Council Chairman. Together we shall make Ivo great again."
