How can someone's business be to manufacture blackmail and sell to extort money and extract undue recognition from big men in the society? To the concerned mind, the vituperation and allegations don't add up for so many reasons:
1. The woman is a notorious blackmailer being used by failed contractors in the FMOW and elsewhere to blackmail the current Minister of Works and distract him from his avowed resolve to revolutionise road construction in Nigeria using concrete pavement, otherwise, why now, after so many years as she claimed. Just two weeks ago some contractors were said to have "warned" the Hon Minister not to come to the site to supervise their works but rather stay in the office and receive briefings and reports from Directors. What a shame! Bad contractors had used the workers in the Ministry to attempt to distract the Hon Minister but that failed. This time is to use social media miscreants to do their bid. This has also failed.
2. This woman claimed to have supplied Election Campaign materials for His Excellency, the Hon Minister, supposedly in 2014 worth about Twenty Five Million Naira (25M). But some of us were neck deep in the election campaign period and we never saw this woman. The Divine Mandate Campaign Organization, the platform His Excellency, the former Governor used to ascend to office had a Campaign Director General in the person of ENGR FIDELIS NWANKWO who was in charge of the campaign. The Governorship candidate then therefore could not have contracted anybody to produce any campaign material without the knowledge of the DG and the Campaign Council. All payments and supplies were made through the Finance Department of the Campaign Organization and not through the candidate.
3. The serial liar was smart by half by publishing an Invoice that has neither the signature of the Recipient nor the Date of Supply or even acknowledgement of supply. Anybody can write anything with his or her business Invoice and this is one of such. The Invoice displayed is fake and all the noise is merely meant to distract the Hon Minister of Works and nothing more.
4. The serial liar claimed that she supplied Campaign materials supposedly in 2014 but had to wait for nine years to seek payment. This is belittling our sensibilities and anybody who believes this can believe anything. Sen Umahi was Governor between 2015 and 2023 and therefore governed Ebonyi State for 8 straight years. Throughout this period, no one, not even Her Excellency, the Wife of the Governor, His Excellency, the Deputy Governor, Rt Hon Speaker, DG Divine Mandate Campaign Organization or any Party or Government functionary was contacted by this lady to help her recover the money. The woman did not also contact the Police, DSS or any Security Agent. Does this not show that the woman is on a sadistic evil mission, not to recover any money, because there is none to recover but simply to do the bidding of her sponsors, which is to blackmail and distract the Hon Minister of Works.
5. More still, who supplies Campaign materials without proper Agreement, Terms and conditions? The serial liar did not produce any evidence that she was engaged by anyone to produce Campaign materials for Divine Mandate Campaign Organization. She was smart to publish fake pictures of Samples of some Campaign materials but she was not smart enough to publish the Cartons of the materials she produced and supplied worth about Twenty Million Naira and the date and place the materials were received. In and out she is a liar and this time has failed woefully.
6. Furthermore, the serial liar did not tell us the name of the person who received the campaign materials. During our Divine Mandate Campaign Organization of 2014, many party supporters donated or supplied materials for the Campaign and all were properly registered by those designated to do so. This woman neither donated nor supplied any material. So, all those presently campaigning for elections in Imo, Bayelsa and Kogi Stares should beware of this serial liar and blackmailer.
7. Finally, though no need to assume that anybody owed her but assuming that she was being owed indeed, Governor Umahi for 8 years would have paid her directly or indirectly over and over again having won his election and served for 8 years. But she is a gold digger and con woman who unluckily engaged the wrong person.
8. In conclusion, let the enemies of progress and all failed contractors in the Federal Minister of Works know that the Hon Minister cannot succumb to their blackmail to abandon the transformative policies he has outlined in the Ministry to revolutionize road construction in Nigeria through concrete road construction as directed by President Tinubu. One million of this kind of blackmail will change nothing. Buyers beware!
