Ebonyi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Chief Stephen Uchenna Igwe has extolled Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for having exemplified capacity in changing the ugly narratives heralded in the state.
Igwe noted that Governor Nwifuru has extensively fulfilled his electioneering campaign manifesto anchored on the People's Charter of Needs, commending his empowerment programs, workers' welfare, education advancement, health care reform, special attention to the traditional institutions and general infrastructure development.
The Commissioner made the observation in his congratulatory note to the Director General of Ebonyi Broadcasting Corporation, Comrade Tony Nwizi and the Executive Secretary of Ebonyi Local Government Pension Board, Mr Emeka Nwonu, after their swearing-in by the governor.
"In a greater might, I warmly applaud the administrative excellence of our dear Governor of our lovely state whose aspirations for a greater Ebonyi State have continued to give the state the best hands in its workforce development.
"I join voice with the entire Ebonyians to say a big thank You, Sir.
"Sir, indeed, The appointments of these two personalities are square pegs in square holes.
"I am confident and further still, urge them to implore their wealth of experiences over the years to enhance effective and efficient that will reposition these institutions for the good aspirations of Ebonyians."
