Eze Iziogo who hails from Onuebor Nome in Ndiegu Ishieke community in the Ado local government area of Benue State also commended the Ebonyi governor's administrative policies and programs.
Izogo while speaking at the Ofala ceremony organized by the Ebonyi State Vice Chairman of the National Union of Medical Herbal Practitioners (NUMHP), Chief Dr Okechukwu Ogbonna at his Ndiechi Ndegu Okpuitumo community in Abakaliki local government area, said even though he lives in Benue, Governor Nwifuru has outshined his counterparts across Nigeria.
According to him, Governor Nwifuru has carried evident developmental programs which transcended human capacity building, peacebuilding, civil service reform; health and education revival, among others.
Iziogo further described Nwifuru's victory during the 2023 general election as a tremendous breakthrough for Ebonyi State, particularly the Izhi Nation.
He disclosed that his political ward and area of jurisdiction as a traditional ruler falls in Benue State but from the same clan as Governor Nwifuru.
He said, his community people have joyfully come before the inauguration of Governor Nwifuru on 29th May 2023 to celebrate with him, for having emerged as the first Izhi child to occupy the apex seat in the state.
He prayed for God to continue to strengthen the governor with wisdom and good health to ensure his electoral campaign manifesto anchored on the People's Charter of Needs came to fruition at the end of his tenure.
Our correspondent learnt that Eze Iziogo is a popular farmer and herbalist whose service to humans has attained him several prestigious crowns.
As an herbalist, he specializes in treating poisons, and strokes, delivering people from spiritual bondage and attacks, and also has a natural gift to invest all-round success in the needy, among others.
He used the opportunity to emphasize the need for the governments in power to encourage farmers and traditional medicine practitioners to advance their trades, noting that all-season farming and alternative medicine to modern practice standards would go a long way to curtail economic and security challenges confronting the nation.
