The Wife of the Immediate Past Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports in Ebonyi, Mrs Doris Akpuenika has felicitated Her Excellency, Chief Mrs Rachel Umahi, Wife of the Minister of Works, His Excellency, Engr. David Umahi on the occasion of her 51st Birthday.
Mrs Akpuenika, in an interview in Abakaliki, said that she was happy to celebrate her "Mother", a paragon of beauty, worthy Amazon and milk of human kindness on the auspicious occasion of her birthday.
She noted that on behalf of her husband, and family members, she celebrates a virtuous woman who touched her life and those of others in several ways.
"After conquering and excelling with your husband for eight years as the First Lady of Ebonyi state, you have gone to emerge as the Chairperson, Association of Wives of the Honourable Ministers.
"This is a testament of your sagacity and acceptability and we have already started seeing your impact on the lives of Nigerian women.
"One cannot celebrate you enough as the impact you made in the lives of Ebonyi and Nigerian women and children is second to none,"
She noted that all strata of the society have indelible testimonies to give about Mrs Umahi as her charitable and humanitarian works encompass all segments of life.
"Universal acclaim will continue pouring for you over your passion and commitment to change the narratives of the downtrodden in the society.
"You have served as an inspiration and motivation to many to weather the challenges of life and find hope to achieve their life ambitions.
"You mixed beauty with kind-heartedness, compassion and impeccable service to God and mankind,"
Mrs Akpuenika prayed to God to
give long life, good health and continued prosperity to Mrs Umahi for she to continue being a source of blessings and succour to many.
