An Eze-elect for Amudo/Okoffia Traditional Stool, High Chief Dr Martins Nwite (Mberede) has said he is the most fit for the job. Nwite made his feelings known when our reporters visited him in his Okoffia Community Ezza South LGA of Ebonyi State.
Nwite who was former Treasurer and President of Ebonyi herbalists Ezza South Chapter said he was happy to have served his people in various positions of trust.
Nwite informed that he has also served his community as the President General (PG) for nine years. An exalted position that provided him with cognate experience.
He maintained that he has consulted widely for the job within and outside the community adding that he was chosen by the youths, women and the entire stakeholders of his Community which according to him gave him an edge among equals.
He, however, said that he has always shown commitment in whatever assignment is given to him either by the community or segment of the society not minding the challenges.
He assured the people of his community equal representation if, by the grace of God, he was coronated the Eze.
Nwite, however, called on members of Ebonyi herbalist to always abide by government directives as that was the only way they would fish out Quackeries among themselves.
He urged the government at all levels to always factor the welfare of the herbalists in their policies and programs mostly now the economy was biting hard on the average Nigerian.
He added that the activities of the pastors of end-time churches in the society were alarming saying the managers of Churches should concentrate on preaching the gospel and allow herbalists to do their bids.
