Nwambam stated this on Monday at his inaugural reception in his residential compound, Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
He appreciated Governor Nwifuru for finding him worthy to serve him as his aide and pledged to utilize his wealth of knowledge to ensure that the leaders of all political parties in the state are united.
Nwambam, who is a popular Journalist and Staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, FRCN advised the opposition parties in the state to continuously support the government of Governor Nwifuru to actualize the People's Charter of Needs agenda.
Also, in an interview, the board member of the Agricultural Land Development Authority, who is presently the Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC Ebonyi State Chapter, Professor Egwu Ogugua praised Governor Nwifuru for finding him worthy of the position and assured of contributing his quota towards the development of the state.
Recall that Governor Nwifuru inaugurated over forty persons as his new political appointees at the conference room, Governor's office, Centenary City Abakaliki, The new appointees comprise a Senior Special Assistant, nine Special Assistants and Board members.
Nwifuru in his remarks after the inauguration expressed confidence in the qualifications of the appointees stating that they are capable of delivering their given mandate.
He urged them to be just in their dealings by doing what the people could be proud of particularly to the Scholarship Board where members are expected to tackle the challenges that would emanate in the sector before the end of April 2024.
"We want the first consignment of 300 of the Scholarship awardees to move in the first week of May to any country of their choice and out of the number, 270 persons shall go for their masters while 30 will go for their PhD either in Nigeria or outside the country."
He urged the appointees in the sector to always insist on the qualified persons by the published criteria instead of favouritism as the candidates would be presented before him for scrutiny.
"I decided to bring many Professors on the Board because many persons had faked their certificates but by the effort of the Professors who can identify the original ones, we shall go on with the 1st and 2nd class candidates."
He added that out of 1,000 targeted candidates for the Master's programme 300 would study abroad while 700 would study in Nigeria based on the fact that the government is already building 39 secondary schools where the people upon their graduation would be deployed to the institutions as the principals, Vic principals and the teachers.
"With the wealth of knowledge of the Professors and other members, they will be able to know the genuine ones and immediately and they graduations, they will be given jobs as this programme will continue till the end of my tenure," the governor said.
He advised other Revenue Boards to do their best to ensure that the places are developed and expanded by creating job opportunities.
