Apostle Ofodile Ikenna Nzimiro, the Presiding Apostle of the East Mandate Global, the Watchman Prayer Ministry yesterday proclaimed that it is only the Igbo presidency that would end the leadership mess in Nigeria as a nation.
Nzimiro proclaimed this in an interview with newsmen shortly after a three-day Alaigbo Sunrise Prayer Crusade meant to crown Ebonyi with the glory and honour of God at Pa Ngele Oruta Township Stadium Abakaliki, the state capital.
The clergyman noted that the East Mandate Global champions the broad liberation of Igbo land by ensuring every evil mechanization against the land and its inhabitants becomes completely void.
According to him, an Igbo man would become president of Nigeria and he must bail out the country of her leadership mess and other socio-economic burdens, among others.
"One of the things we do is that the day for Igbo man to come out from the dust - evil operation and mechanism has come. The time of glory for the Igbo people has come.
"We have begun to reconcile Igbo land with God. When God does that, He will force Nigerians to enthrone Igbo person in the seat of the presidency - Igbo-ga achi-Eze (Igbo will lead).
"And the day the Igbo man becomes the president of Nigeria, the country will become healed. It nearly happened with Peter Obi, yet it is going to happen. That's part of our mandate, to prepare the land because an Igbo man must bail out Nigeria of her leadership mess and other socio-economic burdens, among others."
Earlier, Apostle Nzimiro hinted: "We are here number one because God is a creator of Ebonyi State. A time came when God didn't want any work to condemn the land. It came to pass when God came to ensure no curse held the land captive. And a time came when God told us to come and recover Ebonyi.
"The Bible calls it the appointed time - a time of visitation. That's why we came. We have done the job, of making Ebonyi become what it was created to be. As a son of Igbo land will no longer be a slave. Ebonyi will no longer be a lastborn again. Ebonyi will be a man."
He described the faith-based organisation as an inter-denominational one which was made up of different apostolic prayer ministries, working together with God's covenant gifts to pray for the betterment of God's church and the nation at large.
He explained that the participants in the prayer crusade included ministers of God, traditional rulers and political officeholders from the state and beyond.
