*Hereunder are some reasons why if anything harmless happens, judged to be of national interest people should warmly welcome it.*
*The Old National Anthem Bill is the fastest one signed and put on focus to the new memory lane for Nigerians.*
*It was passed very fast by the NASS and got the needed immediate Assent of the President of Nigeria. It was the first emergency time of event, like a miracle that ever happened in the existing history of Nigeria.*
*There must be a remote spiritual meaning to it and that's why everyone should welcome the new national emergency development.*
*When we talk about the old National Anthem, we should remember that the relevance served in it were exactly what Nigeria required or requires in unity as a nation.*
*The requirements are many but limited to unity, love, peace, harmony, equity, justice, truth and fairness for all Nigerians to practice.*
*The old National Anthem was surely identifying with unity and togetherness in the country, to avoid disunity and tribal discrimination.*
*When the military regime of Gen Obasanjo changed it to the one in use till now, the idea was to make it look indigenous for all Nigerians.*
*But as things stand today in Nigeria, the boasting as found in the present National Anthem couldn't be sustained without sincere prayers to God added.*
*There is also an individual patriotic undertaking in the old National Anthem, as a National Pledge added to it with a prayer to God for help.*
*If we watch what should unite the separate regions at that time, it is only the language of a collective union in practice is basic.*
*This could be good for all Nigerians based on the equal principle of tripartite norms. Also injected into the geography of Nigeria were the National flag, the National Anthem and the National Coat of Arms.*
*Our colonial masters saw our predicaments of disunity, fault of religious bigotry, language barriers and cultural disparity and composed the National Anthem, designed the national flag and the National Coat of Arms to fit into use.*
*Another one is the spiritual undertone attached to it for the purposes of tranquility, serenity of national atmosphere, sound cohesion, natural development based on consolidation and balance for generational betterment.*
*Our colonial masters were foreseeing that prevention is better than cure. That's why the old National Anthem was given as a method of life to adopt, follow and be practiced by Nigerians.*
*Individual Pledges and prayers to God for help were added to it, in order that the real spiritual tranquility needed in leadership for the nation is made sacrosanct.*
*We know that there must be some shortcomings in the life of nations. But If patriotism is in practice bad shortcomings will be minimized or eliminated.*
*Today, because we have fallen short of patriotic development consciousness things fell apart with deadly devastation. But despite the problem we can still pick up from the past experiences.*
*The first orderly step that we should take is to revert to the old monetary value, if possible it should be based on the sum of few naira for a dollar. Likewise let the same treatment be applied for one British pound sterling.*
*We should have a very strong monetary and diplomatic business policy law, to stabilize the internal and the external economic life of Nigeria in the global transaction marketplaces.*
*We should decree against lowering the purchasing power of the Naira value at the International room.*
*The biblical book of Job chapter 22 verse 28 says: "Thou shalt also decree a thing and it shall be established unto thee: and the light shall shine upon thy ways."*
*We should also humbly go back and consult with our colonial masters to help us achieve it. This is because they know better on how to solve the painful problem.*
*They traded fully with the economy of Nigeria, gained and still gain much from it. They also helped to stifle and strangulate it overtime.*
*Prayer to God is the only key. Individual Pledge to be in tune with patriotism is the willpower, to gain back our distorted stature of full fledged size of nationhood.*
*The next is to go back also to the Parliamentary system of governance, where the nation's conservative rules of law went amiss. It was a huge loss to the efficacy of the regulations in the economic life of Nigeria.*
*It punctured the political equity that should be in practice. It was also badly tampered with by the selfish leaders of Nigeria overtime.*
*They didn't or don't quite know about what is patriotic norms, and the real wisdom within the collective strength of bargain for unity and with unfettered togetherness.*
*By the grace of the All-knowing God who I believe in the return of life to the old National Anthem, which am in support it will be well with us this time.*
*The old National Anthem is only pointing at Patriotism. Nothing is more important than individual dedication in the defence of Nigeria's territorial integrity.*
