The Executive Chairman of Ohaukwu local government Area, Prince Ikechukwu Onwe Odono has said his second tenure in office would concentrate on youths building and tackling insecurity challenges in his council area.
Prince Odono who stated this during the 2024 chairmanship rally held at Ohaukwu local government council headquarters,135 Ezzangbo in Ebonyi state, noted that his administration would stand on the mantra of People's Charters of Needs of the state governor, Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru.
He further assured of building a sustainable and healthy environment, where the majority of the youths would have something meaningful to do to make a livelihood.
"What we are doing at the local government stands on the mantra of our Governor, which is centered on the People's Charter of Needs.
"In my second tenure, I will concentrate on building the youths, I will make sure that the majority of them have something meaningful to do, and with that, I believe there would be a serious change in Ohaukwu.
"It's because we have made impacts in the area of security, and this time around we will build the youths," Odono insisted.
On his part, the House of Representatives member representing Ebonyi/Ohaukwu Federal Constituency, Pastor Eze Nwachukwu Eze said he had supported his first two years and therefore vowed to support him to compliment the effort of the state governor on meeting the People's Charter of Needs mantra in Ohaukwu residents.
"We have worked together in his first two years, and that's why we are here to support him for the next two years to make it four years.
"We will keep giving him support because the government is from the national to the state and local government.
"We are doing our best to complement the effort of our Governor on meeting the people's charter of needs."
