The Izzi Local Government System has inaugurated its Management Committee members to be the Vanguards of Democracy in Ebonyi State Southeast Nigeria.
The Chairman of Izzi Local Government Area, Barrister Stephen Nwankpa disclosed this during the inauguration at the Council Headquarters, Iboko.
Nwankpa said the Management Committee members are going to carry the Leadership Mantra of the State Governor, Mr Francis Nwifuru which is 'People's charter of needs' to the hinterland of the State.
"They are to work with me in various capacities to achieve the dreams of the State in deepening Democracy dividends to the people of the State and I pray that it would be achieved so that our hardworking Governor would be happy and do more to the people of the State". He said.
He charged them to be of Good behavior and become Governor's ambassadors in their different development centers.
The former House of Representatives Member from the Local Government, Mr Tony Isha said the Chairman in line with the Governor's programs has done well in all facets of life.
He thanked the Chairman for the good work he has done in the council.
