The 2024 chairmanship aspirant in Onicha Local Government Area of Ebonyi State under the All Progressives Congress, APC platform, Prince John Elom has congratulated the Senator representing Ebonyi South District in the Senate, Professor Anthony Okorie Ani on his victory yesterday at the tribunal.
Elom, the former Coordinator of Ukaba Development Centre in a press statement, he made available to our Correspondent on Friday described the victory of Ani at the tribunal as a landmark achievement for the people of Ebonyi South Senatorial District.
"The valid verdict of the tribunal was a veracious confirmation of the wills and confidence of the good and conscious people of Ebonyi South Zone as reposed on him during the February 3, 2024 bye-election in the Zone.
"This victory is an apparent testament that power belongs to the people and their mandate can neither be subjugated nor abrogated," he said.
He described Ani as the people's Senator while assuring him of his unwavering support throughout his stay in office.
