The Okenze of Ngor Okpala local Government area of Imo state. Okenze Sylvester Ikechukwu Obinna has extolled the leadership qualities of the President General of Nguru Umuaro Development Union, women's Wing. Mrs Violet Ngozi Ikea.
According to Okenze Mrs Violet Ngozi Ikea has declined travelling abroad severally because of her commitment towards galvanising Nguru Umuaro women for visible community development.
Okenze Obinna stated this in his response to an address of welcome presented during the grand finale of this year's NUDU women's August meeting held inside the new NUDU conference under hall construction located at Umuaga Nguru in Ngor Okpala local Government area of Imo state. Mrs IKEA described women's August meeting as "the women's Christmas when they gather to discuss the problems of the community and how to solve them"
She enumerated the problems faced by her administration as the" inability of many people who made pledges during their launching to fulfil their promises, thereby slowing their ongoing projects.
And the menace caused by herders, whose cows destroy their farms and touch their women inappropriately in their farms.
Adding his voice to the president general of NUDU.Mr Peter Okereafor, represented by his vice Engineer Henry Okara commended the Nguru Umuaro women for their giant strides particularly under the leadership of Mrs Ngozi IKEA pointing out that Nguru Umuaro women are wonderfully made and promised on behalf of his president general to give the women all the necessary support that they needed to enable them to complete the ongoing roofing of the NUDU conference hall embarked upon the NUDU women.
In his contribution.the secretary general of NUDU. Mr Casmir Okere described the NUDU women under the leadership of Mrs Ngozi IKEA as "The most result-oriented in recent times"

Evangelist Mrs Bridget Ogbaji from Umuewerre village commended the Nguru Umuaro women for the unity of purpose, which has led to various achievements, including the commencement of the roofing of the gigantic NUDU conference hall under the able leadership of Mrs Ngozi IKEA.
In her submission. Mrs Patricia Egere nee Nwachukwu Oguru described the yearly Women's August meeting as a " Ritual and an avenue for interactions between women from various professions to exchange views and learn from each, then take home the things so learned to improve the quality of lives of both their husbands and their children"

Highlights of the occasion include welcome songs presented by Umuewerre women, drama presentations, and cultural dances by the various women's groups from the five Nguru Umuaro villages.
This year's NUDU women's home and abroad meeting was well attended by NUDU men, friends and in-laws of Nguru Umuaro, as well as their associates as and residents of Nguru Umuaro because of her near cosmopolitan nature occasion by her proximity to both sam mbakwe airport and Umuneke, the headquarters of Ngor Okpala local Government area.
Indeed, the Women's yearly August meeting has become a tool for all-around community development in Igboland and should be sustained to ensure the even development of the five eastern States that comprise Igboland.
