President Bola Tinubu has emphasized his commitment to making difficult decisions that he believes will benefit the country in the long run. Speaking at the All Progressives Congress (APC) South-West Zone Assembly in Lagos, hosted by Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Tinubu, represented by his Chief of Staff, Femi Gbajabiamila, stated that his focus is not on the 2027 elections but on the next generation.
Gbajabiamila conveyed the President's message, stating, "Mr President has asked me to tell you that he is not thinking of the next election but the next generation. He understands that the decisions he’s making are tough, but he sees a brighter future ahead. In time, we will all recognize the value of these choices."
He added that President Tinubu is driven by a strong conviction and a deep love for the masses. Despite the challenges facing the country and the people's concerns, Tinubu remains steadfast in his belief that these decisions will secure a better future for Nigeria.
