Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru of Ebonyi State has consoled the family of the late Francis Nnali Nwachi, who was the Coordinator of the Ubeyi Development Centre before his death recently.
Governor Nwifuru represented by the
Ebonyi State Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Chief Stephen Uchenna Igwe, during the burial ceremony of the deceased Development Centre Coordinator in Afikpo Local Government Area of the state.
The governor described the late Francis Nnali Nwachi as not only a democrat but a visionary leader.
He said, "Ebonyi State government will never forget the family as we will continue to assist them."
He added that well-wishers and friends should not cry much but rather always pray for the soul of the late Francis and continue to extend their help to the family.
Nwifuru further sympathized with the family members and consoled them to take heart, believing that God Almighty will give the children and the entire Ubeyi people the fortitude to bear the vacuum that death has created in their family.
