The occasion held inside the ultra-modern club headquarters, Obama community Abakaliki, was full of pomp, pageantry, thrills, and the highest form of conviviality.
The occasion which served as an opportunity for stock-taking, gauging of accomplishments and attestation of the unblemished and pragmatic leadership of the club"s president, Hon. Charles Akpu-enika, a.k.a Game Changer.
Six individuals who have contributed immensely to the growth of the club and are also members of the club received Honourary Personality of the Year awards for accomplishments in various spheres of the society.
Hon. Chief Sunday Inyima (Agbalagba) the Ebonyi State Commissioner for Capital City Development was honoured with an Outstanding Personality Of the Year Award in Humanitarian Care.
Barr. Emeka Anosike: Secretary of the Club and that of the Nigeria Bar Association (NBA) Ebonyi State Branch was honoured with an Outstanding Personality Award in Selfless Service while Scientist Basil Onyejeme was honoured with an Outstanding Personality Of The Year Award in Uncommon Commitment to Duty.
Deacon Samuel Uguru was honoured with an Outstanding Personality Of The Year Award in Project Delivery while Mr Ikenna Okolie was honoured with an Outstanding Personality The Year Award in Membership Mobilisation.
Hon. Vincent Ehiri was honoured with an Outstanding Personality Award in Project Delivery as the club also honoured individuals who selflessly assisted it with funds to purchase land in 2021 for the construction of its headquarters among others forms of assistance.

4, Mr. Uche Muoka, Barr. Emeka Anosike, the club Secretary,, Hon. Ben Nwovu, Rt. Hon. Joseph Nnunu, Sir Jasper Umenweze,, Mr. Ogechi Agu, Chief Joseph Okonkwo, Chief Dominic Nwibe,
Chief Dad Enigwe, Hon. Emeka Nwoba and Chief Cletus Ike Ngah fall into this category.
Mr. John Okereke, Dr. Kelechi Okezie, Mr. Uche Nwosu, Mr. Nnamdi Okoye, Hon. Felix Okemini, Prince Chinedu Okeke, Mr. Sunday Egemba, Mr. Iyke Okafor, Engr. Gabriel Uzoigwe and the State Commissioner for Works Engr. Hon. Lebechi Mbam, also fall into this category.
The club's President, Charles Akpu-enika said the occasion which served as its end of the year gathering, was an opportunity to take stock of its activities for the year.
"I foremostly thank God for keeping members of this club to see another end of the year as it is his grace and mercy that kept us.
"The motto of this club is one love and this eternal virtue has kept us going and surmounting challenges that came our way,".
He noted that the club attained several feats in outgoing year chiefly the hosting of its iiri ji (new yam) festival inside its edific-ial headquarters, enlargement of its membership among others.
"Construction of the club 's headquarters is almost completed and the members have been tremendous in seeing to its completion.
"We are happy with our members in various positions in government as they have been of immense to the club and have been worthy ambassadors in the state and national affairs.
The club president also commended Gov. Francis Nwifuru for this developmental strides in various spheres of the state and pledged its unalloyed support to his administration.
Chief Sunday Inyima, an Awardee and Commissioner for Capital City Development, thanked the club for bestowing the award on he and others, pledging that it will spur them towards greater service to the club.
"The unity among the members is unparalleled and this has brought unquantifiable development to it.
"I also commend the president for his leadership sagacity and urge him to continue leading the association aright,"
Barr Emeka Anosike, the Secretary of club said that the executive will re-double its efforts in ensuring the club waxes stronger and attains greater heights.
"We have every cause to thank God this year as the unity among us has propelled us to greater heights.
Members took turns to express their gratitude over coming together in celebration and pledged to co-operate with the club's leadership to attain all set goals.
