The Action Alliance (AA) has successfully conducted her Wards, LGAs and State congresses in Ebonyi State.
The newly elected officials of the party in various positions at the ward, LGA and state levels would elapse for the next 4 years in their respective offices.
The AA State Chairman, Comrade Godwin Ukwu, made this known on Tuesday while briefing pressmen at Abakaliki.
The Chairman said: "The congresses were held on Saturday, 25th January 2025 for the wards, 1st of February 2025 for LGAs and 8th of February this year for State as scheduled and duly notified the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)by the National Secretariat of the party in Abuja."
Ukwu, who doubles as the State Secretary of the Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Ebonyi State Chapter, expressed joy over his reelection for the second term.
He also expressed joy for the peaceful conduct of the congresses and commended the party members for being orderly during the exercise in the state.
He said, "It is a true reflection of the ideology, aims and objectives of Action Alliance (AA) as enshrined in the Action Alliance 2005 Constitution as amended."
Addressing the newly elected executives, Ukwu encouraged all the party members, especially the executive committee members at all levels, to hold onto the party's ideology.
While emphasising the need to promote the aims and objectives of the party, he said, "AA members should try to show integrity and faithfulness without which, there will be no difference between Action Alliance (AA) and other political parties.
"That is the only way we can present Action Alliance (AA) to the masses and the electorates at large as a credible alternative political platform in the 2027 general election."
Our correspondent gathered that the other newly elected executive members included Comrade Oko Otu Nkasiobi as State Secretary, Mrs. Nwode Angela Uchechi as State Women Leader, and Comrade Uche Umeh Stephen as State Youth Leader, among others.
