The Enugu State Chapter of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON) has congratulated the First Lady of the tate, Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah, for her remarkable achievement in receiving the prestigious "African Iconic Women Recognition Awards."
ALGON stated this in a press statement endorsed by its Chairman, Hon Sydney Okechukwu Edeh who is currently the Nkanu East Local Government Chairman.
The awards, according to the statement included the Most Outstanding First Lady of the Year, Best Performing First Lady of the Year and People’s Choice of the Year.
ALGON described Mrs Mbah's achievements as a testament of her unwavering dedication, and commitment to duty.
The body commended the wife of Enugu State governor's exemplary service in transforming the lives of widows, children, the elderly, the less privileged, and the youths in Enugu State.
