Ebonyi state chapter of the Sports Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN, led by Comrade Nwogha Ndubuisi, expressed heartfelt condolence to the family of late Prince Kenneth Idike, the younger brother to the State Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports, Prince Richard Ugo-Idike at the moment of grief.
The State Chairman, addressing newsmen at the Ndukabi Igbeagu Autonomous Community in Izzi local government area of Ebonyi State during the event, described Kenneth's death as sad but consoled the family members to see death as a debt owed by everyone which must be paid.
He encouraged them to remain strong, most especially the bereaved siblings while believing that their brother transited to a place of rest, heaven and that he lived a good life while on earth.
He appreciated the SWAN members for their solidarity with the Sports Commissioner and the family and tasked them to continue to remember the bereaved siblings in prayer as well as pray for the peaceful repose of the deceased Kenneth.
The Chairman equally thanked stakeholders for their support as it plans 2025 SWAN week and urged them to remain steadfast in ensuring that they achieve the desired result.
