The Ishielu Council Chairman, Hon. Mrs. Ifeoma Peace Agwu has commended Governor Francis Nwifuru for commencing the construction of the Ebonyi State Industrial City.
Agwu made the commendation while interacting with journalists during the groundbreaking ceremony of the project, which took place in Ezzangbo in Ohaukwu local government area of the state.
She said the flag off of the project marks a significant step toward enhancing industrialization and economic growth in the Ebonyi State.
Agwu emphasized the transformative potential of the industrial city, highlighting its aim to empower the youth of Ebonyi State.
“This initiative is not just about infrastructure; it represents a beacon of hope for our young people. By promoting industrialization, we are creating opportunities for employment, skill acquisition, and entrepreneurship.
"The Ebonyi Industrial City is poised to become a key economic hub in the state, attracting investments and fostering local industries.

"As the project progresses, the Ishielu Council is committed to supporting the initiative and ensuring that it delivers maximum benefits to the community," Agwu said.
The chairman called on investors, stakeholders, and residents of the area to collaborate in making the industrial city a success.
