The Immediate Past Commissioner for Youth Development and Sports in Ebonyi State, Hon. Charles Akpu-enika has stated that Governor Charles Soludo of Anambra State has performed creditably in governance as his administration should be supported by Anambrarians.
Akpu-enika, the Awkuzu-- Anambra state born Social Commentator, said Soludo has redefined governance in Anambra state and made "The Impossible, possible,".
The Game Changer as he affectionately called in the Ebonyi Sporting and Social Circles, noted that the Former Central Bank Governor had dismantled the complexity toga of Anambra governance and proven that governance can actually be brought to people's doorsteps.
"I recently visited Anambra State and was impressed with what he has put on ground in his first term in office.
"Infrastructurally, it has been a masterpiece with hitherto impassable roads now well constructed while bridges and flyovers, sprout all over the state.
"The Awkuzu civic center to Umunya and Awkuzu Civic Center to Amabor roads for example, which were never constructed by previous administrations since I was born, are now wearing good looks,".
Akpu--enika noted that most of Soludo's infrastructural strides include: modernisation of markets and building of new ones at Onitsha, Ekwulobia, Agulu, Awka to take away street traders to more organised markets.
"The governor also constructed 745km of roads, awarded 462 asphalted roads completed with stone base-- sub cement stabilisation before asphalt.
"He installed 30,000 solar powered street lights coupled with the inauguration of the solution fun city.
"The Soludo administration has launched the geographic information system for efficient land administration.
"He has constructed brand new medical centres among other positive intervention in the health sector."
He noted that Soludo's greatest achievement which he has bequeathed to Anambra people, is conquering the insecurity menace that tended to destroy the state.
"For years, Anambra lost it to insecurity with killings and destruction of properties, orders of the day.
"Investors left the state in droves because no one would wish to invest in an area no matter how viable, where he can't guarantee his life not to talk about his investments,"
Akpu-enika said that Soludo as a Grass-rooter, took the bull by the horn, made necessary consultations to save the state and brought a master stroke that has awed Nigerians in checking insecurity.
"The Anambra security service has reinforced the people's belief that they can be safe again in state they call their own.
'"The hue days of killings and destruction are steadily fading and almost gone and the needed confidence is returning.
He remarked that Soludo has added panache to governance through aesthetic modification of the state, with assurance to the people that the best was yet to come.
"I remember vividly in the past when I used to visit Anambra State Government House during the Abakaliki street renaming saga, I was ashamed to hail from Anambra.
" I told people to come to Ebonyi and see the world-class Government House the then Governor David Umahi built.
"However, I am proud now to see the new government House Soludo has built and the realty that Anambra has now turned to a massive construction site,"
Akpu-enika advised Anambra people to shun all distractive and divisive tendencies and support the administration.
